Urbana, IL Designed and developed a custom 3D scientific visualization tool called Rocketeer that supports isosurface generation, slices, surfaces, and cut planes. Rocketeer uses the HDF file format and accepts any number of file series. Multiple datasets from the same or different series may be viewed simultaneously. Segmented data is supported by allowing two or more series to be merged into a single series. Duties also include compiling and installing software packages and libraries on Unix and NT workstations, evaluating various graphics workstations and visualization tools, and assisting in creating the specifications for CSAR data files. |
